What You'll be Doing:
- Responsible for recommending ‘best practice' for flight department.
- Participate on the leadership committee in recommending current and future safety practices and philosophy.
- May manage other functions as directed by Director of Aviation that have significant role in the performance and function of the department, e.g. Safety, maintenance, standardization.
- May perform other general department duties when not flying.
- Assume 200% Safety Accountability - Self and Others.
- Serve as Senior Captain on two fleet aircraft.
- Determines that the aircraft is airworthy for each flight utilizing all applicable weather information and reports in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Oversee the safe operation of daily flight department in concert with Chief Pilot and Director of Aviation.
- Oversight of training for flight, ground and maintenance team members.
- Responsible for Customer Service.
- Collect data related to safety trends and provide required reporting as determined by Director of Aviation.
What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree, preferred.
- 6000 TT/4000 Turbine-Powered.
- Airline Transport Pilot License.
- Management experience dealing with personnel.
