The Meijer Express (Gas Station) Coordinator ensures the execution for the overall field operations and merchandising strategy for Express stations. They will provide training to the station teams and feedback to operational leadership of the Express station performance.
Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading teams in a gas station and multi-unit experience (a plus)

What You'll be Doing:
- Responsible for driving results in a specific business area across an assigned Market (typically 8-12 stores).
- Supports, and provides training and feedback to store teams on express state and federal regulatory compliance. (Including food safety, pump inspections, receiving and returns).
- Ensures that store teams are routinely maintain everyday merchandising standards and practices. Review floor conditions including I-caps done, ads set and in stocks. Ranking walks for Standards once a period (goal) train in areas needed.
- Partners with Store Leadership that provides timely feedback and escalates obstacles that could prevent execution of plans and standards. Send weekly updates on sales, StoreOps and key items that may need to be done that week.
- Acts as a liaison between operations and the Express Buying Office team.
What You'll Bring with you:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field OR equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of gas station/ convenience store experience.
- 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Must be willing to work in a retail environment and travel up to 90% of the time.
- Must be adept with cell phones, laptops and tablets to ensure steady and appropriate communication flow.
