The Service Coordinator exists to ensure a high-quality customer shopping experience by leading and supporting front-end operations. This role coordinates checkout flow, maintains front-end cleanliness and standards, and assigns work for cashiers, service desk, and courtesy team members to meet productivity and service expectations. Through active coaching, labor utilization, and customer issue resolution, the Service Coordinator drives strong customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and accountability for front-end performance. Shift will range in hours from 12pm-10pm
What You'll be Doing:
Shift will range in hours of: 12pm-10pm
- Communicate effectively with peer leadership for smooth handoff between shifts
- Perform survival walk of the department and shift-to-shift hand-off when the team leader or area leader is not present.
- Coordinate and drive actions and activities involving the monitoring and control of shrink and financial business outcomes within areas of responsibility. Proactively escalate concerns to leadership as they arise.
- Champion participation in community programs. Lead by example with behaviors and team member resource group (TMRG) engagement.
- Serve as a certified trainer for team members in their span of care.
- Perform on-the-job/hands-on team member training and mentoring.
- Serve as subject matter expert for market programs, company pilots, and development/training programs.
- Assign tasks to team members within the department, in partnership with the team leader, and follow up to ensure task completion.
What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
- Successful completion of the Service Coordinator training curriculum (includes curriculums for Cashier, Service Desk, and Courtesy Team)
- Ability to operate cash register system and all financial services equipment
- Good communication skills, friendly, customer oriented, organized, detail oriented, sense of urgency
- Has organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- This position may require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, kneeling and/or climbing
- The amount of weight or frequency of such activities may vary depending on a team member's shift during the day, the day of the week, the month or season, and/or other staff on duty
