This position will support the project managers of the new store/remodel team responsible for all new and remodel store projects from a Retail Operations perspective, ensuring merchandising, operations and customer standards are consistently met at the least possible cost. This position will also support the VP of Store Support with administrative tasks and projects that will help achieve deliverables for this organization.


What You'll be Doing:

  • Designs, creates, and maintains all new store and remodel playbook SharePoint sites and documents. Works with business owners to keep all documents and links current/accurate.
  • Creates all new and remodel project schedules using Moovilla Project Management Software. Works with project managers to keep all projects up to date for visibility tracking and transparency.
  • Provides project punch list follow up assistance for all project managers. This includes working with coordinators, construction and internal/external business partners.
  • Develops and creates all kickoff presentations and meetings. Attends project related meetings as needed to assist project managers when experiencing conflicts.
  • Drives the design review process for Customer Experience Support team (from conceptual to fixture validation) compiles information required from cross functional teams and develops recap for Operational leadership review.
  • Gathers and organizes all data needed for reporting (Customer experience, OSA, Shrink, hole counts and others as needed).
  • Develops remodel labor budgets by inputting the construction sequencing schedule into the labor template for project manager review and approval.
  • Delivers key initiatives with cross functional teams and vendor partners to ensure all projects stay on track and reports risk when identified.
  • Develops and communicates all vendor schedules for new and remodel stores.
  • Oversees all MN131 fixture return documents for completeness, accuracy, and reporting. Works with business partners to update excess fixture availability data.

Job Details:

  • Monday through Friday (weekends only if necessary)
  • 35-40 hours weekly

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in business, construction or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years of retail experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Foods, Hardlines and Softline's Merchandising and Operations.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and how it impacts Operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office including; MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to use SAP and Ariba.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences from Senior Leadership to Team Members. Can get messages across that have the desired effect.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen attentively and actively.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide information people need to know; provides accurate and timely information cross functionally and to third party vendors.
  • Demonstrated skill to pursue everything with energy, drive and a need to finish; seldom gives up especially in the face of setbacks; works with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated skill to pick up on technical issues quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge; is good at learning new retail industry subjects, product knowledge and technical knowledge; does well with technology.
