Representative activities include facilitating a function-wide competency analysis, identifying and creating job profiles, and piloting a best practice model for future competency analyses. Activity may support corporate offices and field operations, but the position will be based in our Grand Rapids (Michigan) office.

Among other activity, this team negotiates over 20 collective bargaining agreements, administers the dispute resolution procedure, develops and implements our work environment survey, and develops and designs recognition and performance correction systems. Interns in this area have participated in preparation for union negotiations, analyzed calls to our silent whistle hotline, and developed recommendations for follow-up. This position is also based in Grand Rapids.

Total Rewards
Our Total Rewards team has responsibility for the strategy and delivery of compensation, benefits, disability management and occupational health services for employees and retirees. Innovative thinking, analysis and a focus on customer service allow this group to provide a competitive and cost effective reward package with user-friendly programs and services. Sample projects in this area have included leading the dependent care verification audit process, bridging job competencies to performance reviews and developing a strategic tracking process to monitor response and compliance initiatives.

Talent Development
This team has responsibility for Organizational Development as well as Learning and Development for our leaders and team members. This team helps optimize the performance of the organization, by fully developing both individuals and teams.
